Note
GEM- Unique. Look at this shell carefully. At first glance it resembles pulchella pericalles. But the shape is extremely elongated and pyriform, the posterior labial canal is sharply curved. Typical pulchella has marginal spots, but this specimen does not has any marginal spots. This is a fully mature specimen with both columellar and labial teeth fully developed. It resembles very much like a pyriformis. But the stained labial teeth link it to pulchella. Wondering if this specimen is a true and ultra rare hybrid beween pulchella and pyriformis or a totally undescribe new subspecies of pulchella. I am starting this very unique shell at a low starting price. If proven by Expert and Specialist that this is a true hybrid or a new subspecies of pulchella, the price shall be several thousand euro. Collected by trawler in deep water on muddy bottom.
