Incredibly beautiful colours, well-curated over the years, and now fully stable: orange-ochre ground, sprinkled with diminutive dots of ivory in a pattern of the highest aesthetic merit; deep lavender terminals. Margins with massive yellowish cream callosity. Orange dentition. In a different league to the majority of specimens offered. Data: Lahaina, Maui, Hawai’ian Islands; upon reef substrate, under coral slab; 12 m; dived; 1999. Size: 25 mm. Grading: Gem. Provenance: JES Collection; London / Melbourne. |
