| Note | A moderately rostrated pyriform specimen with a thick gloss and elegant calloused margins. The shell features black teeth on columellar aperture, a porcelainized base and margins. The wonderful glaze complements the four dorsal bands fused on the dark gray primary hued body. The shell was collected off Mahmya Island, Hurgada, Egypt. on a night dive at 20 meters on a rocky coral reef in 2018. This beautiful specimen shows a few fine growth lines at the bottom of the posterior ramp. Grade: GEM minus. |
